Ria Formosa - Tavira
Tavira is located at the unique Lagoon system "Ria Formosa" with several wonderful beaches "from protected calm to openly wavy" sea.
Also it is home to many different bird species, the most famous certainly is the graceful Flamingo.
Praia dos Tesos
On foot, by bike or by car, you reach Tesos beach in front of the city (2.5 km from the apartment).
Praia da Ilha de Tavira, Praia da Terra Estreita & Praia do Barril
With the ferry (which is a 10-minute walk from the apt.) you will arrive in a short time to the island of Tavira.
Praia da Cacela Velha & Praia da Fábrica
Other beautiful beaches, such as Cacela Velha Beach and Fábrica Beach are accessible by bike or car. (10km from apt.)
